About

History

In 1995, Jean Cloesen incorporated the company Robot Automation. Robot Automation exclusively supplied industrial robot programming services. Due to increasing demand for more extensive automation projects, in November 1998, Jean decided to develop a whole new structure that would be integrated within the company Ciratec.

Throughout the years, the company grew and since January 2016, Bart Thys and Robby Cloesen became the directors. Jean still supports Ciratec with his knowledge and experience.

Ciratec became a member of the FFT Group in October 2016. This allows us to keep growing and guarantees we have challenging projects for our team. We are an independant business unit within the FFT Group and keep delivering services to other customers.

Currently Ciratec employs 19 people. We also have several cooperations with freelancers to be flexible according to our customer's needs.

Company Values
Ciratec aims to be one of the leading companies specialised in robot and PLC programming in Europe with:

Teamwork

Teamwork is the most important in a project. Together with the customer and other (sub)contractors we try to make each project a success.

Satisfaction

Our focus is the customer's satisfaction. Planning the project like this, will also give us satisfaction in our job.

Passion

It is always necessary to do something more than just your job. You need passion to excel.

Simplicity

We don't try to reinvent the wheel every project. Keep it as simple as possible, this will also benefit the customer.

Services

Robotics

Robotics

We have more than 20 years programming experience with following robot controls:

  • Kuka KRC1,2 and 4
  • ABB S4 and IRC5
  • Fanuc RJ1,2 and 3

Our experience includes product handling, palletisation, punching, sealing, stud welding, mig & mag welding, resistance welding, laser welding, laser cutting, clinching, camera systems, ... . For all these applications we can develop standards or integrate newly developed standards in existing systems.

PLC

Simulation

Simulation

About 15 years ago we started our simulation department using Delmia Igrip.

Currently we use Tecnomatix Process Simulate and our experts can carry out reachability studies and process planning for the most common brands of robots and applications. The complete production process can be simulated and cycle times can be measured before the installation is actually build.

During these 15 years we also gathered a lot of experience with Off-Line Programming (OLP) using different robot brands and standards.

Software

Software

Through the years, we have developed a whole range of software packages. These programs allow you to generate robot documentation or help you while programming robots or train your maintenance staff. The following programs are examples which can always be extended.

  • CiratecEdit FT: tools for Fanuc RJ3
  • CiratecEdit FPB: Fanuc Profibus
  • CiratecEdit K: Kuka program editor
  • SDU: Standard & documentation
  • Plant Assistant and CRC Supervisor
